United Family Services

Founded in 1909, the United Family Services (UFS) has evolved with the needs of the local community. Today, the organization is devoted to improving the quality of life of thousands of families in the Charlotte area to restore basic levels of security, self-sufficiency, and belonging through quality services such as:

• Crisis Intervention & Advocacy
• Domestic Violence Services
• Child Advocacy Services
• Economic Independence Programs

• 1 of every 4 women in our community will be the victims of domestic violence.
• 97 employees and over 250 volunteers work towards the goals of the UFS.
